VSiN Adds MLB Opta Predictions to Expand Its AI-Powered Prop Betting Tools
Media network extends its Opta Predictions offering to MLB after earlier NFL and NBA launches, adding AI-driven player and team prop projections for VSiN Pro subscribers.
VSiN has launched Opta Predictions for MLB, extending its AI-powered prop projection tools after earlier rollouts for NFL and NBA player props. The company said the new MLB offering is powered by Opta AI and built on Stats Perform’s Opta data and predictive modeling, giving subscribers data-backed projections that can be paired with sportsbook odds already available on the platform.
According to VSiN, the new product is designed to help users identify potential value in player and team prop markets more quickly. The company said the tools are available exclusively through VSiN Pro, its premium subscription tier, and can be used as an objective input for both wagering and fantasy decision-making.
The release ties that expansion to broader demand in the prop market. VSiN cited data showing that 88% of pre-match bet builder wagers on the Super Bowl included a player prop, using that figure to underscore how central player-based betting has become to the modern sports wagering ecosystem.
VSiN also shared early usage data from its NFL and NBA tools, saying those projection pages have generated nearly 700,000 page views since launching late last year and have produced average engagement times of more than 10 minutes. The company said the projections have also become part of its live programming, where on-air analysts use them as a real-time benchmark in player prop discussions.
Stats Perform said the partnership is now extending beyond digital statistics pages into VSiN’s live programming.
The launch is another example of AI moving deeper into the sports betting media stack, not only through back-end modeling but through subscriber tools, live analysis, and daily programming. In this case, VSiN is packaging predictive models as a premium content and decision-support layer across three major U.S. sports, with MLB now added to that mix.
