Meta Adds Fanatics to Muse Shopping Network as Agent Moves to AI Glasses
Meta is bringing Muse to AI glasses and adding Fanatics and DICK’S Sporting Goods to the agent’s shopping network, while unveiling Muse Charm.
At Connect 2026, Meta introduced a pocket-size Muse device and expanded the agent’s retail and payment connections, including sports merchants.
Meta is bringing its Muse personal AI agent to its AI glasses and expanding the services it can use to shop, pay and plan travel. At its Sept. 23 Connect event, the company also unveiled Muse Charm, a pocket-size device designed for voice interaction with the agent. Meta said it would share more details about Charm later this year; it did not announce a firm ship date in its event recap.
Muse launched earlier in September as a standalone agent that can use a browser, fill out forms and complete tasks on a user’s behalf, with approval before sensitive actions such as purchases. On AI glasses, Meta says Muse will be able to respond to what a wearer is looking at, such as a product or a printed flyer, without requiring a verbal description. The glasses integration is planned for the coming months.
Meta’s new shopping connectors include Walmart, Best Buy, DICK’S Sporting Goods and Fanatics, alongside several fashion and beauty retailers. The company said Muse launched with access to the Shopify catalog and is adding Shop Pay and PayPal payment options. Expedia is expected to support travel planning, while Instacart is another listed service. Meta has not specified which functions will be available from each partner at launch.
The expansion brings sports merchandise merchants into the agent’s transaction network. Meta has not announced a ticketing partner or a team or league commerce integration for Muse.
The rollout is not universal. Amazon confirmed that it blocked Muse from accessing its shopping site, saying outside agents should respect a provider’s decision on participation. The restriction was reported before Connect and shows that merchant access depends on each platform’s policy, not just the agent’s technical ability.
