LIV Golf Launches AI Fan Caddie Powered by Salesforce Agentforce 360
New AI agent, named “Chip,” is built into the LIV Golf app to deliver personalized second-screen experiences, real-time tournament insights, and commerce tied to live play.
LIV Golf has launched Fan Caddie, a new AI-powered companion built into the LIV Golf app as part of its partnership with Salesforce. The agent, named “Chip,” is powered by Salesforce Agentforce 360 and is designed to personalize the fan journey across live events, team storylines, player data, retail, and content throughout the 2026 season.
The product is positioned as a second-screen experience that works alongside the live stream without forcing users to leave the app. LIV Golf said Fan Caddie uses a unified data operating model to tailor interactions based on fan, player, team, and event context, with the goal of deepening engagement whether a user is watching from home or attending in person.
Key features include real-time tournament insights, replays, hole-by-hole scoring information, player comparisons, and an interactive leaderboard built around live data from LIV Golf’s content team. The experience also includes a “Shop the Look” feature that surfaces player apparel in real time, along with on-course utility such as ticketing and hospitality information for fans attending events.
Salesforce framed the launch as part of a broader sports AI push centered on personalization and contextual storytelling.
The fan product is only one part of the rollout. LIV Golf also said the launch sits within a larger enterprise AI deployment that includes Agent Caddie, a separate Salesforce-powered tool for broadcasters. That system will deliver real-time shot intelligence and richer statistics to LIV Golf’s broadcast team through Slack, with the stated goal of improving storytelling and expanding content opportunities across tournament coverage.
The launch coincides with the start of LIV Golf’s fourth full season, following the opener at Riyadh Golf Club and heading into one of the league’s marquee events in Adelaide. In practical terms, Fan Caddie gives LIV Golf a new owned-platform layer for combining live data, content, commerce, and event utility inside a single AI experience.
