Reading FC Names Marquee Official Football Intelligence Partner

The long-term agreement brings Marquee’s AI platform into recruitment, match analysis, set pieces, and player development.

Reading FC has named Marquee its Official Football Intelligence Partner under a long-term agreement announced Sept. 30. The company will work with the club’s football and AI teams to combine internal and external data for sporting decisions.

Marquee’s platform is slated for use in player recruitment, pre- and post-match analysis, set pieces and player development. Staff will be able to ask questions in natural language and generate reports tailored to Reading’s playing approach, the club said.

The partnership adds a football-operations application to Reading’s broader AI program. The club established a dedicated AI function and recently hosted an AI in Football Summit at its Bearwood Park training ground. In its announcement, Reading said the new agreement is intended to make football data more accessible to staff and support better-informed decisions.
