49ers Name Doppel Official Social Engineering Defense Partner
The 49ers named Doppel their Official Social Engineering Defense Partner in a multiyear deal that combines sponsorship exposure with AI fraud protection.
The multiyear agreement pairs stadium and digital sponsorship with AI-driven protection against impersonation and fraud.
The San Francisco 49ers have named Doppel the team’s Official Social Engineering Defense Partner in a multiyear agreement. It is Doppel’s first partnership with an NFL franchise and includes gameday promotions, signage at Levi’s Stadium, social content and custom events.
Doppel’s AI platform is designed to detect and counter phishing, impersonation, deepfakes and other fraud. The company says it combines Digital Risk Protection, Email Security and Human Risk Management so signals identified in one channel can inform defenses across others. The platform will also be used to protect the 49ers organization.
“We chose them because we’ve seen their products in action and trust them to make us safer.” — Costa Kladianos, EVP and Head of Technology, San Francisco 49ers
Doppel will appear at 49ers home games through digital and physical signage. Additional activations will be organized under a “Defend the Bay” campaign focused on protecting staff, partners and fans, according to the team. The partnership brings Doppel’s security service together with sponsorship exposure across the club’s venue and media channels.
Kevin Tian, Doppel’s CEO and Co-Founder, described the Bay Area-based company’s first NFL deal as a homecoming. The 49ers said the collaboration builds on an existing relationship between the two organizations.
