Warriors Name RingCentral Official Agentic AI Voice Platform
The Warriors expanded a decade-long RingCentral partnership with agentic AI voice tools for fans' ticketing, game-day and ongoing engagement questions.
The expanded deal brings agentic voice AI to the team's fan engagement, building on a business-communications relationship that dates back more than a decade.
The Golden State Warriors have named RingCentral the team's official Agentic AI Powered Voice platform for fan engagement, expanding a relationship between the NBA franchise and the communications company that dates back more than a decade.
The companies announced the expansion on Oct. 22. They said they will work together on fan interactions ranging from ticket inquiries to game-day questions and ongoing engagement. The announcement did not disclose financial terms, the contract's length, the specific products involved or a launch timeline for the voice platform.
"The Warriors have built one of the most passionate fanbases in sports, and we're proud to help power what comes next. Agentic Voice AI is changing the game. It brings a new dimension to our partnership and helps fans stay connected with the team in new ways." — Kira Makagon, President and COO, RingCentral
According to the announcement, RingCentral has kept the Warriors connected as the organization grew from a single Oakland office to locations in San Francisco and Santa Cruz, plus facilities managed through Golden State Sports Academy. Over that span the staff grew to five times its earlier size. When the team moved eligible staff to remote work in March 2020, employees used the RingCentral softphone on laptops and the mobile app on phones. That kept their business lines running for season ticket members, corporate partners, community members and fans.
The partnership began in 2014. In 2018, the Warriors named RingCentral their Official Enterprise Cloud Communications Partner and a Founding Partner of Chase Center. As part of that deal, the team's business offices and arena operations moved from a legacy on-premises phone system to RingCentral Office.
"RingCentral has been a trusted partner for more than a decade, helping us stay connected as our organization has grown and evolved. As we look to the future, we're excited to build on that foundation and explore how emerging technologies can enhance the fan experience. This expanded partnership reflects our shared commitment to innovation and finding new ways to better serve Warriors fans." — Brandon Schneider, President and Chief Operating Officer, Golden State
RingCentral listed the Warriors expansion among the highlights of its third-quarter 2026 results, released the same day. The company said annual recurring revenue from customers using a native paid AI product is approaching 15%, double the share a year earlier.
The voice AI agreement adds to Golden State's AI partner lineup. On June 25, the organization named IREN its Official AI Cloud Partner in a multiyear deal that puts the IREN badge on Warriors jerseys beginning with the 2026–27 season. That deal also covers the Golden State Valkyries, Santa Cruz Warriors and Chase Center.
