Reliever Launches AI Back Office for Youth Sports Associations
Reliever combines banking, bookkeeping and compliance tools to support volunteer treasurers and boards at youth sports associations.
The Minneapolis company combines banking, bookkeeping, and compliance tools for volunteer treasurers and boards.
Reliever launched Oct. 6 with a financial administration platform for volunteer-run youth sports associations, bringing banking, bookkeeping, and compliance into one system.
The Minneapolis company's release positions the platform as a complement to the registration, scheduling, and communications software associations already use.
According to the announcement, the offering includes an insured operating account, virtual and physical team cards with spending controls, annual budgeting and actual-results tracking, financial statements for boards, and vendor payments. It also covers W-9 collection, 1099 processing, 990 filings, and state and local reporting.
“Reliever gives them that support, so the focus can return to the kids and the sports.” — Jason Campana, Co-Founder and CEO, Reliever
The company’s website describes bookkeeping delivered by Reliever bookkeepers alongside automated matching of bank and card transactions to the ledger. Items below a confidence threshold enter an exception queue for review. The site also describes consolidated team reporting, approval histories and role-based access designed to support the handoff to a new treasurer.
Reliever said it began working with Collin Bushman, treasurer of the Stillwater Area Youth Hockey Association, before extending its work to associations in other sports. The company says it is working with associations nationwide, but the launch release did not disclose a customer count or measured time savings.
The announcement calls the software AI-native without detailing the underlying models. It describes approval rules and transaction records as tools to improve oversight; it does not report independently verified fraud-reduction results.
