The inaugural Global SportsTech Report 2026, based on surveys of 160+ senior sports executives by SportsPro and Sportradar, found that 82% of sports organizations are currently deploying AI, with 98% planning to expand usage within 12 months.

Nearly three-quarters reported that AI initiatives have already delivered tangible business value, and 73% of those expanding their AI use plan to focus on content creation and distribution.

The report identifies AI as the technology with the greatest potential impact, ahead of data analytics, AR/VR, and blockchain.
