NBA on Prime Adds Prime 360 AI Replays and Yahoo Fantasy Integration
Prime Video adds AI-generated replay viewpoints and linked Yahoo Fantasy rosters for its second NBA season, with Prime 360 limited to select broadcasts.
Prime Video’s second NBA season adds AI-generated replay viewpoints and linked Yahoo Fantasy rosters on screen.
Amazon is adding Prime 360, an AI-powered replay system, and a Yahoo Sports fantasy integration to NBA on Prime for the 2026-27 season, which begins Oct. 23.
Prime 360 uses high-resolution cameras around the court and proprietary AI models powered by AWS Trainium chips. Amazon says the system will produce replays and support pregame, halftime and postgame analysis on select broadcasts.
GeekWire reported that synchronized camera footage is sent to the AWS cloud, where plays are reconstructed as 3D scenes. Producers can then create moving viewpoints beyond those captured by an individual camera.

The separate Yahoo integration lets viewers link a Prime Video profile to their Yahoo Fantasy account to display their season-long basketball roster, live fantasy statistics and matchups. Personalized discovery will also highlight games relevant to those matchups. Amazon says the integration covers NBA on Prime and NBA League Pass on Prime Video.
The service’s second season includes 67 regular-season games and NBA Cup coverage, followed by the Play-In Tournament, selected early playoff rounds and its first exclusive Eastern Conference Finals presentation. GeekWire reported that the combined regular-season and postseason package exceeds 100 games.
Amazon has not said that Prime 360 will appear on every broadcast. The announcement also did not report audience or engagement results for either new feature.
